Hi all, here some info about a workshop this next weekend at NK in Berlin, salut!
oscar *Generative and chaotic: Workshop [rdxs]:__x=i d'Óscar Martín* The workshop is planned as an experimental, theoretical and hands-on laboratory on the concepts of emergent systems, stochastic, chaotic and generative sound & light art installations. The participants will work based on the contents and the technological development of the installation *RdES* ( http://noconventions.mobi/noish/hotglue/?RdEs_eng/ ). In the lab we are going to be learning tools like *Pure Data and Arduino* and the participants will be develop collective prototypes. *RdEs* is an installation that explores the sonic and compositional possibilities of the concepts of complexity and emerging systems, using a network of "modules-particles" that interact with each other and with the environment. Each "module-particle" follows simple individual rules, but is able to generate more complex and sophisticated patterns when combined with the others. http://noconventions.mobi/noish/hotglue/?RdEs_eng/ <http://noconventions.mobi/noish/hotglue/?RdEs_eng/> *day 01 *concepts and theorie:* emergent stochastic chaotic complexity Feedback Tipologie of Networks Installation {Rdes} *day 02 *Techniques and technologies:* Pure Data Arduino *day 03 *practical:* Developing collective prototypes Please Preregister for the workshop by sending an email to Oscar Martin at: *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *DURATION*: 12 hours 3 days ( 4 hours day ) *FEE:* 65 euros ( includes electronic materials like LDR, leds, speaker, cables ) Participants should bring: -arduino board UNO or similar -headphones -protoboard (optional, if you have one) -Soldering gun *Oscar Martin [noish] * http://noconventions.mobi/noish/ Experimental artist, independent researcher and programmer working in the fields of sound art, installations, interactive and generative systems, performances and net radioart -- oscar martin && [noish] ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: http://noconventions.mobi/noish http://metaminafnr.hotglue.me/ http://www.minipimer.tv/ http://ursonatefanzine.tk/ ---------------------------------------------
