It is with sadness that we learn of the death of Edmond Couchot,
co-founder of the ATI department in 1984 at the University Paris VIII
Vincennes - Saint-Denis.
He has been in charge of the course for some twenty years and has
conducted research with the INREV team on digital art and virtual reality.
A pioneer in digital art, author of more than a hundred publications, he
has been a witness, theorist and actor in the transformations of art and
science.
Edmond Couchot's philosophy is at the heart of ATI's teaching which the
team is proud to transmit.
The whole team supports Marie-Hélène Tramus in this challenge.
