Visually minimalist and ironically stylized, the game Feed’Em

farmer — a caretaker of data-bred, anthropomorphic agents created by artificial
intelligence. These beings must be fed attention — the most valuable currency
of the digital economy. The player is deliberately cast as the one nourishing
cyber-organisms, which in turn shape the network — and by extension, the
player’s behavior, needs, and worldview.
The game explores issues surrounding digital capitalism, data ethics, and
reveals the complex relationship between humans and algorithmic systems on
social networks. It highlights how our digital traces and interactions are used
to optimize systems that then influence us in return. [more at
