Hello List, I'm running into a problem using the modeling gateway. I can export the data from my Spectrum 8.1 SP1 DSS running on Solaris 10 and the export produces a 1.8MB file without errors. When I go to import the data on a DSS in our test environment the utility errors out with the following:
$ ./modelinggateway.Solaris -vnm DSS_test -i /var/tmp/DSS1_data.xml Topology import started. Wed, Oct 22, 2008, at 08:08:33 AM EDT Start parsing file /var/tmp/DSS1_data.xml FATAL ERROR: null Start importing file /var/tmp/DSS1_data.xml Import errors: 1 Topology import exception: null [Ljava.lang.StackTraceElement;@15983b7 It looks like the utility cannot parse the xml file. I've tried different shells but no luck so far.
