On the SMTP server, can you substitute a shorter name ??

like this....

10.1.1.2 rick.com
longname.east.west.north.rick.com.co.uk

Then make rick.com the short name substitution

Subject: [spectrum] limits in Windows Mail

Long time all,

I have run into an issue with Windows mail while configuring SANM. There
seems to be a limit on the length or hierarchy of the email address in
mail while forwarding it to an smtp server. Is anyone aware of what this
limitation is? Currently I am using a 4 tiered 35 character domain in
this.

Thanks,
