I've placed a request to implement at least some VMware information, which is the least difficult thing to do, in comparison to HP Blade solutions or even hardware switching technologies like IBM's VIO Server et. al. - engineering turned it down as being too little of interest.
That was, I must add, more than one year ago. Nowadays, ESX servers and such stuff is being more in focus since Green IT has become more important. Maybe today the answer would be another... Therefor you will have to help Spectrum with a "virtual Switch" which is a FanOut. The root cause should act correctly this way.
