Hi Mike,

There's an attribute called NCM TFTP Host which defines the TPTP
server's IP address, so just set this attribute on the model that you
want to backup to the external IP address of your Spectrum server, and
it will work.

Subject: [spectrum] NCM global Sync on external facing devices

Hello,

Has anyone had any experience backing up a running configuration via NCM
on a device that sits outside the front firewall. Since these will be
external facing devices they will not be routing our internal network,
but we have a static NAT setup for our Spectrum server to receive traps.
The problem we are facing is that we are not able to backup these
devices configuration files via SNMP as the continually time out. I
believe this to be caused be Spectrum referencing its own internal IP
versus our NAT'd IP.

Has anyone any experience with working around this or changing where
spectrum tells a device to transfer their configs to?

Thanks,

-Mike
