I'm not sure if you received a response or not (I didn't see one),
but...
Where are you receiving this error message? AlarmNotifier or some other
client?
The bottom line is that Archive Manager couldn't retrieve it for some
reason (timeout, historical data is gone) if you are seeing this in the
Alarm Manager, or you will see this depending on what your settings are
for AlarmNotifier in the .alarmrc file (which is outside of Archive
Manager):
GET_EVENTS=false
SHOW_ALL_EVENTS=false
SHOW_ONLY_ORIGINATING_EVENT=false
By default, AlarmNotifier will attempt to attach to the alarm model on
the SpectroServer for the corresponding alarm to get the event. You may
see this on a 'clear' or 'update' if it can't retrieve the 'originating'
event.

Subject: [spectrum] Spectrum/Archive Manager
Hello,
We are receiving a lot of EventMessage: [Error retrieving event
information: Some items in list failed] SEM 10009 messages?
I looked in the KB and all it says "This is caused by the
associated event not being logged to the Archive Manager DDM database."
This event is logged to the DDM database...
Anyone have any thoughts?
