We are having a bit of a problem figuring out the MIB to load in for the Cisco Catalyst 6509-E Switch. Discovery identifies it three different ways
File 1 – Model type is detected as a firewall. File 2 – Model type is detected as a switch (but is properly identified as a 6509) File 3 – Model type is detected as router/switch and identified as a 6509 We need to identify the ports and connections between our new Cisco Catalyst 6509 virtual routers/switches and it has to be identified correctly to map the ports and connections.
