Hello List,

You can set the Email option to the desired one in
the user tab for that user, this email id will be
responsible to send email through Spectrum.

Thanks for your reply.
I believe they are using the mail.exe from
$SPECROOT\NT-Tools\SRE\bin and passing the default
"Full Name" (-f) as the installation owner name. I
want to override that setting to use a different name
from OneClick.

I think it is a SPECTRUM related setting, as from
OneClick when you send an email for an alarm by right
clicking the alarm and selecting Mail option, it will
not ask you from which user you want to send the
email. It automatically picks up the Installation
owner of SPECTRUM.

happening because SAdmin is not in AD. To fix this
problem just create SAdmin account in AD (LDAP like 
how it works for other users ) then have mailbox for
that account on exchange server then you are going to
see the display name  which is created on AD server

    Platform: Windows
    Version: SS 9.0 SP1

    I would like to know whether it is possible to
change the Display Name of the email sender when we
right click an alarm in OneClick send email through
it. I am noticing that the display name in the email
which I receive has the installation owner name
(SAdmin in screen shot). However I would like to see
a different name to be displayed when the mail comes.
This user (SAdmin) is the local user and is not
defined in Active Directory.

    My OneClick and SS are on two different servers.
