We supplement our Spectrum installation with a great open source product called
Cacti.

http://www.cacti.net

Amazing program. We graph all routers, switches, and firewalls in Cacti
including Pix 501, 515, FWSM and ASA.

If you are looking continuous perf data collection, have a look on Spectrum
Report Gateway that's built on top of rrd engine.
Or go for eHealth as complex performance solution. ...or other tools for perf.

Subject: [spectrum] Firewall Performance Tab

Does anyone know if there is a way to enable the performance tab for CPU and
Memory monitoring on a Cisco PIX FW? I know that Spectrum will poll for CPU
usage if thresholds are configured, but we were hoping to be able to use the
graphing capability of the performance tab to trend the CPU usage of our
current firewalls and then compare with the new devices we are going to be
putting in. If this isn't an option does anyone have any ideas how else to do
something like this?
