Hi Jack, list,
in "former times" (until 8.1) we had flashing icons in SpectroGRAPH
("flashing green" functionality).
The answer why this had not been ported to OneClick was it was a
limitation of the underlying java tech not supporting this.
I'm not a java developer but think you'll have to face such an answer ;-)
