Hi everybody,
We are trying to figure out how to measure the VLAN traffic in several
Cisco Catalyst 6500 switches.
We are using the OID smonVlanIdStatsTotalPkts to measure the total packets
per VLAN per Switch,
but we don't know how to interpret this OID.
Does It refer to total VLAN packtes ingressing the switch? i.e tagged +
non-tagged, Does It refer only to
tagged (with VID tag) packets?
Does It return all traffic for a VLAN or only traffic received from 1Q
trunk interfaces?
