Hi Jay, list, Spectrum accepts ALL v1/v2c traps independent from trap community.
If Spectrum receives a trap from an unmodeled device and is configured to handle such traps (via "VNM -> AutoDiscovery Control -> Trap Based Continuous Discovery") it uses the trap community to try to discover and model the device. Additionally it can try to use one of the configured communities under Trap Based Continuous Discovery to achieve this. @all: please feel free to corrcet me if I'm wrong with using the trap community to discover as I'm not fully sure here. Things with SNMPv3 are a little bit different. If using SNMPv3 traps the trap credentials must be the same as access ones as Spectrum must know how to translate them. Hope this helps.
