Hi Erwin, list,

thanks for your reply.

Probably I was not clear enough:

- want to modify AuthFailureTrap (4.0) sent by Matrix switches
- search for folder responsible for ModelType "MatrixN" (if any)

Meanwhile I tried to modify "CsVendor/enterasys/AlertMap" by adding
the following line:
4.0 0x10017 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.60.1.2.4(1,0)

...0x10017 is the event config inclusive source IP, the var oid (from
enterasys) contains the IP address.

But after having updated Spectrum to reread the event config the
resulting event is still 0x1030a (auth failure without IP).

Searched some more through CsVendor and the used AlertMap could be
"IETF/Alertmap"? That's why I search for specific folder where I can
modify the handling especially for Enterasys/MatrixN.

Nevertheless your hint regarding searching for OIDs guided me back to
my very old plan to work out a list/mapping which traps (for which
MTs) generate which event(s).

...so again thanks for your reply!

Unfortunaltely I'm still searching were to place my modification to
get it working :-(

Regards,
Marcel
