yes it can, however there is a but :-)
 
The NSM integration is an AlarmNotifier application and as such is not
fault tolerant. So that means if you run it in default configuration on
the secondary as well as the primary you will get 2 sets of alarms sent
to NSM. You will then need to do one of the following to get over this:
a) Customise the NSM integration so that the secondary checks to see if
the primary is sending alarms before it sends - very messy and not
reliable
b) Filter at the NSM level
 
We had a customer recently who did the filtering at the NSM level and
this seemed a much more reliable solution than trying to do something at
the AlarmNotifier level. I'm afraid I don't have any details of what
they did so you will need to rely on your organisations NSM expertise
for that.
