Hi Erwin, list, for sure I could disable these events but that's not my intention. I simply get event 0x1030a (without source IP authenticating wrong) where I want to get 0x10017 (including the source IP).
So I think I'd have to modify IETF/AlertMap: - from "4.0 0x1030a" - to "4.0 0x10017 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.60.1.2.4(1,0)" ...but as I don't know what ModelTypes beside "MatrixN" uses this AlertMap I could get many 0x10017 events on other MTs which should not be generated but 0x1030a. That's why I asked for a kind of exclusive folder to "MatrixN" or Enterasys in general. Seems as if such a folder does not exist so I'll try to change the line in IETF/AlertMap to "4.0 0xffffffff 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.60.1.2.4(1,0)" and try to use an EventProcedure to generate 0x10017 if VAR1 is filled and 0x1030a otherwise. I'll give you feedback if the attempt was (un)successful.
