in 8.1 SDM (at least the former snmpv3proxy part of it) is needed to
model using v2c and v3.

I think it's built-in in 9.0 but I'm not sure.

Don't know of any views/functions you'll miss using v1 (but for sure
the snmp security features in v3).

If you're using Report Gateway you'll miss interface bandwidth
counters supporting 64bit if reporting against interfaces greater than
10ß0 Mbit/s. The v1-32bi-counters rollover at approx 115Mbit/s using
5-min-pollintervals. The counters usable with v2c and v3 theoretically
support 10000Gbit/s I think (had calculated the value but do not
exactly remember).
