Hi, from the Concord/CA Knowledgebase:
Solution ID: TS29305 Does SPECTRUM support 64 bit Operating Systems? SPECTRUM 9.0 will install and run on 64-bit OS that are supported (listed above). However, they will run only as a 32-bit application and therefore will not take advantage of extra memory resources beyond what a 32-bit application of that platform allows. Spectrum 9.0 with Solaris x86 is not supported. CA plans to add support in Spectrum 10.0 to allow for 64 bit OS to be supported. Problem Environment: SPECTRUM 9.0 Linux 64 Bit Windows 2003 2008 64 Bit Solaris 64 Bit Solaris x86 Supported 64-bit OS for Spectrum 9.0 include: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition (x64) base level Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition (x64) base level Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (x86 64bit) 4.0 Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (x86 64bit) 5.0 Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES (x86 64bit) 4.0 Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES (x86 64bit) 5.0 Sun Solaris (SPARC 64bit) 9 Sun Solaris (SPARC 64bit) 10 Regards -- Christoph ßler E-Mail: [email protected] amasol AG, Elsenheimerstrae 7, 80687ünchen, Germany Phone: +49 89 1894743-24 Fax: +49 89 1894743-99 amasol Aktiengesellschaft fr Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie Aufsichtsrat: Dr. Stephan Kaiser (Vorsitzender) Vorstand: Wolfgang Bachmann, Stefan Deml, Thomas Dirsch, Johann Maurer Amtsgericht Mnchen HRB 128327, Sitz der Gesellschaft nchen > -----Original Message----- > From: Natasha Nell (ZA) [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Wednesday, June 03, 2009 8:59 AM > To: spectrum > Subject: [spectrum] Spectrum 9 Windows operating system > > Hi there > > Do anybody know if Spectrum is supported by a 64 bit Windows 2003/2008 > Operating system > --- > To unsubscribe from spectrum, send email to [email protected] with the > body: unsubscribe spectrum [email protected] --- To unsubscribe from spectrum, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe spectrum [email protected]
