Since Off Page Reference models cannot be removed from top-level world topology
maps, how do you deal with this? What is the best way to make the map
"somewhat" useable?

Now, I'm new to this NMS, so excuse me if this is a lame question, BUT... :)
... If I remove the OPR from it's resident container via the "Review from this
view" right-click menu, does Spectrum remove this model from the topology map
and still continues to monitor or does it remove the model from both view and
monitoring?

Thanks..

Can off page reference (OPR) models be destroyed or hidden within SPECTRUM
OneClick? Currently there is no way to hide, remove, or destroy the off page
reference icons. In SPECTRUM version 9.2 a new user preference to hide off
page references within all Topology views will be introduced.

A "workaround" some users have implemented is to move all of the off page
reference icons on top of another so it looks like there is only one OPR in the
view.

Another "workaround" is to use Global Collections to model e.g. the core
devices. The Global Collection topology will display connections between
collection members but will not display any off page references.

After discovery runs, there are lots of off page references.
How can off page references be removed without destroying the associated model?

Problem Environment:
SPECTRUM 8.1.0
SPECTRUM 9.0.0
SPECTRUM 9.1.0

Causes of this problem:
The off-page reference icon is a special purpose topology icon. It represents a
device that is directly connected to a device in the current view but which is
modeled in another layer.
