Hello Eugen, below is the procedure to fix the error you are seeing when starting sslogger. Must likely, you have another sslogger.exe process running in memory. Try the procedure below to see if it helps..
*Problem*: When starting SSLOGGER, the following error is seen: The VLMap has not been initialized. *Resolution:* If you already have sslogger running and you need to cycle it, you can kill the process and manually restart it if it is not configured to run by processd. If you need to stop the SSLOGGER process completely and it is configured to run by processd, you can stop an autostart ticket (sslogger for this case) using the following command, cmdC <hostname of the Spectrum server> 2 <PID of sslogger> to start an installed ticket, launchinstdbapp.exe <hostname of Spectrum server> <install partname> <autorestart> <logname> *Problem Environment:* SPECTRUM 8.0.0 SPECTRUM 8.1.0 SSLOGGER *Causes of this problem: * The reason for the error is that there is another SSLOGGER already running. SSLOGGER might have been started by processd depending on the setting of the installed ticket. Hope it helps! Regards, Eng.
