Hi Patrick,

Actually, you can achieve the scenario you are telling me, but with some
tweaking of the view permissions, take for instance this scenario:

A user with special permissions to delete only certain GCs, then you do the
following:

- Restrict this user or group to the view "Universe" with RO permissions and
a security string with low privileges (because you have to provide access to
this view at least, otherwise, the special user will not be able to see
anything)
- Assign RW permissions and the "delete" security string to this user(he or
she will then have 2 security strings), only for the GC you want him to
delete or manipulate.

In this way, you will achieve the following:

The user or users within the group will be able to see the Universe view,
with only RO permissions and when accessing the GC they are entitled to
delete or manipulate; this will be available to them through the GC view
(and only this GC not the other ones you have, unless the user or group has
another security string for other GCs)

Hope it helps!

Happy weekend to all
