It's a long story as to the reason why (it will only be temporary), but has
anyone had any success installing 9.0 to a network drive? I've tried both
using a UNC path as well as a mounted drive letter, but Spectrum balks at the
path in both cases.

I've tried installing SRAdmin to the network drive as well and that worked, but
it still did not like the network path when I did the install.

For the UNC path, it indicates the error, "Invalid installation directory
specified." If I specify a drive letter, I get the popup error message,
"Unable to create directory z:\spectrum," even though I've created it ahead of
time, as well as tried w/o creating it.

I do have permissions to do write/read to the drive as I've confirmed that.

Thanks.

Brad
