we, too, will test SysEdge and AIM for VC in the near future. As far as I've
tried to install the software I can say that it's very easy to install
SysEdge only - that's an extra install option.

I still did not get the VC AIM to install but maybe my problem is that the
used testserver does not have VMWare VC installed - the AIM install options
are grayed out. Think it should be easy, too, if server has VC installed.

Will report my experience to the list when having done it. Also I'll test if
the VC AIM will work with VSphere4 (which includes VCserver 4.0 - VC AIM
install says VC server 2.x is supported).
