Take a look the OneClick Administrators Guide for ³Exporting² or ³Importing² preferences.
Couple of things: Be careful when you ³export² your preferences to a group. If you choose the wrong group, you might mess up the wrong people. We had someone recently export his alarm filter preferences to about 30 groups that impacted many people. There was a lot of grumbling. Also, when you ³export² your preferences they will OVERWRITE the users or groups existing preferences. So if someone in the group has created their own favorite filters and you then go an export your alarm filters to the group, they will loose theirs and only see yours. While that can be handy for keeping them in sync in an operational environment, it can be quite irritating to people if you don¹t let them know. I have put an enhancement request in to let the alarm filters be additive so that the group filters don¹t overwrite the users filters, but I don¹t expect to see that for a while, if ever. If you like that idea, please let support know you want to push along case # 18413698-2. Additionally, I have another enhancement request in to let users pick alarm filters from multiple groups. This would be useful to us for groups that monitor different items on the network being able to see what alarms may be in those other areas at times. Case # 18413720-2.
