On my 9.1.1H6 system, when changing the ok_to_poll status of the two interfaces representing an existing (non-live) link to "TRUE" makes it green.
May be a foolish question, but did your link already exist? Setting the attributes does *not* create the link itself! Otherwise: you do have Live Links configured globally? Have a look at you VNM information tab, subview "Live Pipes", there is a global enabling option. It toggles to "no" when I disable the live link connected to an interface. Keep in mind that, for each live link, there are two interface models having it set to "true"; so your total number of live links is half of your result.
