All,

I am in the process of trying to make Spectrum a non-state based browser for
"Node Down" events only. What I am also trying to do is create a "Node Up"
Event with a "Normal" condition so that our operators can match up alerts. This
is just until will hook into our ticketing system. Below is what I was trying
for, so any help would be appreciated.

Node Down Event = 0x10d35
Node Clear Event = 0x10d30

What I am trying for is this...When the "Node Down" clear event comes through
(0x10d30) generate Event (0xffff6705) which is "Node Up". Pretty simple right,
here is what I tried..

I removed the "Node Down" Clear event from Event ID 0x10d30 and added an Event
Pair rule that states "If event 0x10d30 occurs and is NOT followed by
0xffff6703 (dummy event) within 1 minute, then generate 0xffff6705 (Node Up) -
So theoretically I should now have a Node Down & Node Up event in the Alarm
console for the same device.

What I am actually seeing is the "Node Down" event comes in and even thought
the device is still down I am still seeing an event 10d30 come through which is
then executing the Event Pair rule and after a minute I am getting the "Node
Up" even though the device is still down...

Anyone else trying to do this?
