Hi Jay,

You can always try running the client with java in compatibility mode for the OneClick if everything else fails.

However, as other people suggested, you should install the Java version that comes with the SPECTRUM installation and then run the OneClick with this version. This always worked for me, no matter what Windows version.

Chris, you also stated that you might have problems with recent java versions if one wants to change the password. I've had some problems with the OneClick client and every time it were solved by clearing the java's cache. You might want to try this.

Be careful with recent Java versions. I don't know if it only applies to certain Spectrum versions, but we ran into an annoying bug using Java 1.6.0_14 and later. Basically, when running OneClick on such a version, anytime you change a user's password it will be stored in a corrupted form and they will never be able to authenticate to the changed password.

Logging in and accessing/using OneClick worked just fine for me with newer versions, but don't set passwords with it.

Is anyone having any issues with the Spectrum 9x OneClick Java client and Windows 7 or Vista 64bit?

I cannot get the client and the JRE to work properly together.
