Hi Spectrum Group,

The last week some people helped me with my Spectrum NCM configuration and
I fixed many of the configutaion capture problems, just incresing the
timeout. So I fixed my problem capturing the Enterasys devices
configuration.

The problem was that I have some Cisco 3825 devices which I could not
capture the configuration, they are configured with SNMP v3. When I use
the capture option it displayed the next error message: "Error captutring
configuration for host: Failure."

My Cisco 3825 SNMPv3 configuration is the next:

***************************************
access-list 11 permit 172.20.40.11
snmp-server group yyyy_group v3 priv
snmp-server location "Edif. Matriz, 4to Piso, Centro Computo, Rack
Comunicaciones 2"
snmp-server contact "Redes y Comunicaciones Ext 2400"
snmp-server host 172.20.40.11 xxxx_xxxx_v3
snmp-server file-transfer access-group 11 protocol tftp
snmp-server file-transfer access-group 11 protocol ftp
***************************************
According to the manual I have configured a SNMP User associated to a
yyyy_group which is a SNMP v3 group, and use priv and auth security
parameters.

Some one have any suggestion or ideas of something that I have ommited in
my SNMP configuration on Cisco 3825 device?

PD: I do not use Firewall or NAT, the Cisco Device is in the same network
of the Spectrum server.

Atentamente,
