I had this issue a few times and I had to uncheck "auto linefeed" in the
"VT1" tab of the terminal settings menu.

It seems Spectrum decides randomly whether or not this is checked - and on
some Cisco devices it really screws you up until you realize what's going
on!

Subject: [spectrum] Ssh from one click to a network device

Hi all,

has anyone see the following problem. When I am in oneClick, mark a device
and try to connect with ssh, I can type my username, and can type the
password,
but when I press return after the password, an asterix will printed in the
next
line, and the connection will closed.
Does anyone see this, and what can I do to solve this.

Regards
Berthold
