Spectrum 9.1.1 on Solaris 10 When my redundancy link is activated SS immediately comes up with an alarm stating that it is already in use but the status of all the links in the event text are all unknown. And also I have started a npc connection between the two tunnels ( is this causing the issue)??? My scenario is as follow Remote router We have Fast Ethernet which is in standby( status) and (protocol) down ( link to satellite) Tunnel1 (status) up (protocol) down - tunnel to satellite Local router (backbone) We have a tunnel defined So when the remote router's serial link goes down the fast eth comes up ( link to satellite), the tunnel comes up and then a virtual tunnel is created. I have defined the npc for the serial to the Fast eth (on the remote router) and started a npc from the remote tunnel to the local routers tunnel .
