I think there should be a child count parameter or something similar which you can check and then let the watch create an alarm on the GC. The issue lies with SANM (Spectrum Alarm Notification Manager) that the only choices I have under severity are "Critical,Suppressed,Major,Minor,Initial,Maintenance" and the model would be under the condition "normal".
