Hi Andreas

That is my logic too. The only things I can see cropping up are the Template
file getting out of date (but that's easy enough to fix, we could share this
through the Spectrum Wiki) and OS support. As long as sslogger remains the same
we should be OK. as that is the point of interaction with Spectrum. I have an
open call with CA and the product manager is going to advise in about two weeks
about the situation. In the meantime I am going to test SRG 9.0 with Spectrum
9.2 and see what happens.

Regards

Steve.

Hello,

I didn´t try it, but I think it should work because there isn´t a dependency
<http://dict.tu-chemnitz.de/english-german/dependency.html> between Spectrum
and SRG. SRG only writes textfiles written by SSLOGGER to rrd files. The format
of the SSLOGGER files have to be the same in 9.x and 9.2.

The CA support team also confirmed.

Regards

Andreas

Anyone know if SRG 9.x will work with 9.2?

Is it gone or just not shipping?

They removed it from the shipping media some time ago, but you just needed to
download it separately.

Hi List

Has anyone else seen page 34 of the release notes for 9.2 that state that SRG
no longer ships with Spectrum?

We use SRG extensively to graph many attributes as well as interface
utilisation. If this affects you too please log a call with CA and ask for this
decision to be reversed.

TIA

Stephen.
