I checked it out with CA support before implementing and they said it was just 2008 R2 that is a problem. We've been running on a production server for 30 days and it all seems OK.

Standard 2008 works fine. Regards Stephen. I have 4 SS servers running on it. Just remember that that BOXI component for 9.2 that you install on your OneClick server still does not support 2008, you will still need 2003 for the OC server. I am confused on where you saw the information in the installation guide. In the Installation guide I have pg 12 it shows the following: CA Spectrum® Infrastructure Manager Installation Guide r9.2 Windows System Requirements The following table lists the system requirements for installing CA Spectrum (see page 45) on Windows platforms: Component Requirement Operating System Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP2 or Microsoft Windows Server 2008 on Intel x86-compatible systems. Note:Report Manager is not supported on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2. Memory (RAM) (see page 14) Dependent on the configuration and number of managed devices. Am I just not reading the same document ? However, they will run only as a 32-bit application and therefore will not take advantage of extra memory resources beyond what a 32-bit application of that platform allows. Spectrum 9.0 with Solaris x86 is not supported. CA plans to add support in Spectrum 10.0 to allow for 64 bit OS to be supported. Supported 64-bit OS for Spectrum 9.0 include: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition (x64) base level Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition (x64) base level Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (x86 64bit) 4.0 Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (x86 64bit) 5.0 Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES (x86 64bit) 4.0 Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES (x86 64bit) 5.0 Sun Solaris (SPARC 64bit) 9 Sun Solaris (SPARC 64bit) 10 I attached the KB document. In the Installation Guide of 9.2 you can found following: Operating System Windows Server 2003 32 or 64 bit, Windows 2008 32 or 64 bit including Windows 2008 and Windows 2008 R2 on Intel x86-compatible systems I think the only Component, which is not supported for Win2k8 R2 64 Bit is CABI. During the beta I installed CABI on a Win2k8 R2 64Bit Os and it works also without problems. But I think 9.2 is supported on 64bit Win 2008, I know somebody some time ago said he installed on 2008 R2 - which is 64 bit only- and someone else also installed in on linux 64 bit.
