Betreff: [spectrum] Upgrading a Distributed SS Environment
Greeting all,
I have one quick question regarding upgrading a distributed environment. We
have a distributed environment that was running 9.1.H6 on Windows. It's now
mixed between 9.1.H6 on primary SpectroSERVERs and 9.2.H2 on secondary
SpectroSERVERs. Each SS has it's own local OneClick installed.
I was hoping to failover our monitoring to the secondary servers, and point our
NOC users over to the 9.2 OneClick while we upgrade the primary servers, so we
don't interrupt monitoring. However, I'm not able to log into any of the 9.2
OneClicks, and I'm thinking it's because of the mixed environment.
I've redirected one of the 9.2 servers to use itself as the main location
server hoping this would allow me to access the 9.2 OneClick that is installed
locally on the server, an restarted the Tomcat service, but I still cannot log
in using the default spectrum account. I've connected to the SS via CLI and see
the spectrum User model, so I know the account exists. Does OneClick have it's
own Location Server settings that are separate from the SS? If so, does anyone
know the XML file I can edit to redirect OneClick to a 9.2 server?
Kind regards,
Brad
