We often have to discover and monitor customer devices, which don't have SNMP
installed, for up/down status.
I would like to be able to resolve the ip addresses to their hostnames using an
external file ( like the local /etc/hosts file ), which can easily be edited
and updated.

Currently, I have the hosts file updated and an "nslookup" command from the
UNIX/WINDOWS command line will successfully resolve the ip address to a
hostname, but Spectrum doesnt.

Can someone help me ?

Thanks in advance
