We will shortly be setting up an eHealth system, and are considering whether to use the bundled Oracle installed locally, or an Oracle cluster hosted remotely. Does any one have experience with these options and can offer ideas on them? For HA, can two eHealth installations tie into the same db? The idea is to let our DBAs provide database HA while we have an active and a passive backup/failover eHealth system. Thank you. Joe
AFAIK, eHealth does not yet support an unbundled Oracle. As for the HA setup, it's actually the same DB, set up for cluster and HA.
