In the 9.2 Admin Guide (Page 33) it mentions:

"The OneClick web server must communicate with processes on the SpectroSERVER
host system to gather data for display in OneClick clients. This communication
uses a Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA)-based application
programming interface that is unencrypted by default. However, you can
configure the OneClick web server to use secure CORBA (using Secure Sockets
Layer or SSL) to encrypt its communications with the SpectroSERVER. This lets
the web server access information securely."

Is this not what you are looking for? Secure CORBA?
