We are having issues with the topology discovery of servers with multiple NICs. The servers are configrued with NIC teaming and transmit load balancing, so the virtual MAC floats between the active transmit NIC.
During autodiscovery, Spectrum only connects the active trasmit NIC to a switch model. CA support said this is expected as they only see one MAC address during the discovery. However, both physical MAC addresses are available using the hardware MIB rather than the Intel Teaming MIB. When I questioned support if other enterprise customers had this issue, he said he was unaware of otehr cusomers using redundant NICs, but they could submit an enhancement request....
