Take a look at the upgrade manual, just need to copy SSDb to a certain folder structure before running install. Also, you can convert DDM.

Subject: [spectrum] Spectrum Report Manager and new install
I am planning a new parallel Spectrum 9.2 Linux install to the existing 8.1 Linux
Most things are fine but just wanting to get real world experience on getting the data from the 8.1 Report Manager into the 9.2 Report Manager
So its a parallel install on new hardware monitoring the same hardware but obviously model handles will be different
any thoughts on ways of making a match on model names?
