My problem is that I have off-page reference in a current view which are note to a device but to a container (that contains a device connected to the device represented by theoff-page reference). Putting a device in a container should move the off-page reference inside the view of the container. This would make it much more simple to make clean views. About the suggestion regarding Global Collections....that's the point: you can't create containers in GC and make hierarchical views. GC are nice, but can't replace the topology view. (Legacy KB ID CNC TS31168 ) Currently there is no way to hide, remove, or destroy the off page reference icons. In SPECTRUM version 9.2 a new user preference to hide off page references within all Topology views will be introduced. A "workaround" some users have implemented is to move all of the off page reference icons on top of another so it looks like there is only one OPR in the view. Another "workaround" is to use Global Collections to model e.g. the core devices. The Global Collection topology will display connections between collection members but will not display any off page references.
