Morning all,

Does anyone here have any idea how to get meaningful traps out of Extreme
XOS devices into Spectrum?

I've got the following config in one switch as a test,
configure snmp add trapreceiver <spectrum IP> community <community string>
from <mgmt vlan ip> mode standard
However all the events I get are in the following format:
You are being notified of 1 event(s).
 Model URL : http://<spectrum
IP>/spectrum/oneclick.jnlp?topology=0x<ModelHandle>
  Severity :
Created On : 07-Jun-2011 10:02:39 BST
      Name : <SYSNAME>
Event : Device <SYSNAME> of Type ExtrDevice received an
extremeSmartTrap trap. This trap indicates that the value of one of the
object identifiers (or the value of an object below that in the MIB tree)
defined in the extremeSmartTrapRulesTable has changed, and hence a new entry
has been created in the extremeSmartTrapInstanceTable. System is Summit48si
- Version 7.3.2 (Build 3) by Release_Master 02/21/05 16:35:08. SystemUpTime
-339898696.

This doesn't give me any info as to what the trap is at all! Am I missing
something, perhaps a bit of config to say "send regular SNMP traps, not
SmartTrap traps?"

Thanks for any help anyone can offer!
