regarding your points: 1) I assume you have done all the required steps to configure NCM that are listed in the documents. If yes… can you give us some details? What kind of devices are u using? To which DeviceFamily do those devices belong? What error do you see? Check the events on the NCM or DeviceFamily models. 2) I’m not sure if I understand your questions but take a look into the Spectrum Performance Manager (SPM) guide. You can use it to run remote tests on hosts like Cisco routers which support IP SLA. SRM can report on the SPM test results.
