Another helpful hint - in .alarmrc and SetScript, add a comment block so you
remember what you did, for example:

#
# These attributes are being passed as environment variables
#
# 0X0023000E Device Type
# 0X000129ED PortType
# 0X00010069 Device Model Handle
# 0X00012BFD Owner
# 0X00011564 Notes
# 0X00011F82 Internal Interface Alias
# 0X0456002A SPM Test Description
# 0X00012ADB CollectionsModelNameString
#
EXTRA_ATTRS_AS_ENVVARS=0X0023000E,0X000129ED,0X00010069,0X00012BFD,0X00011564,0X00011F82,0X0456002A,0X00012ADB

You did not specify platform, but on Windows I had to use leading zeroes AND
all capitals,
e.g. 0X0001298A in .alarmrc and SANM_0X0001298A in SetScript

Subject: [spectrum] Some creative SetScript help needed

Greetings

Before I go out and re-invent the wheel - I figured I would post this
question out here to see if someone else has already done this.....

I would like to pass the list of destination names (devices) in the
Impact->management lost impact field of the component detail of an alarm to
my SetScript.

I believe the attribute I am looking for is 0x1298a.

I added this to my .alarmrc and bounced the notifier process.

EXTRA_ATTRS_AS_ENVVARS=0x1298a

I added this to my SetScript

echo "Impactlist:      " $SANM_0x1298a

But I don't see any values in there.

Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong here??
