Thanks for the reply. Yes, my customer was a experiencing a memory leak
that has since been resolved. I think that was the initial reason for their
question. They'd now like to understand if it is advisable to restart the
SpectroSERVER or OC server on a regular basis. It sounds like the consensus
so far is no. Thanks again.

We restart the spectroservers and the oneclicks only when needed. Are you
experiencing some sort of memory leak or other slow fault? If so, restarting
the services just masks it, and is something you should bring to attention
of CA's support.

Subject: [spectrum] SpectroSERVER Restart Best Practices

Hello everyone,

In eHealth there is a weekly maintenance job enabled by default that
restarts the eHealth server. Although there is no equivalent 'job' in
SPECTRUM, do you restart your SpectroSERVERs on a regular basis? If so, how
often and what process do you use? Or, do you leave the SpectroSERVERs
running and bounce the OneClick server regularly? I'm putting together a
best practices doc so I'm looking for any information you can provide.
Thanks.
