We have McAfee running on ours --- we just have an exclusion for the Spectrum
install directory.

Subject: [spectrum] Anti-Virus software on Spectrum servers

Does anyone have anti-virus software on their Spectrum servers? Our server team
installed Vipre anti-virus software on my Spectrum Servers and it's slowed the
system down a lot. They configured it so that it doesn't scan the drives that
Spectrum is installed on, but I still want it removed from the system. I'm
trying to find some kind of documentation on CA's recommendation on having
anti-virus software on the servers. The only thing I can find is the
Installation Guide, Chapter 4 page 45 where is says "Disable your antivirus
software's real-time protection prior to installing CA Spectrum....". However I
don't see anything about re-enabling or leaving it off.

Thank you,
