Hi Dan,

You might want to try "counter delta" expression on a simple counter attribute
such as ifInOctets, and an expression something like this:

COUNTER_DELTA( <attribute_name> ) == 0

And

Threshold violated if value == FALSE

This "should" tell you if you're not receiving traffic on that interface
between polls.

Subject: [spectrum] bandwidth monitoring

Greetings

I need some help setting up a simple interface threshold rule in Spectrum.

We need to generate an alarm on a couple links (our ISP links) if there is
no traffic for a given period of time.

Under thresholds and Watches for the interfaces - it appears I can easily
set a rising threshold - if bandwidth > 'x'. Does anyone know how to do the
opposite - generate an alarm if bandwidth < 'x'?

Thanks
