Hi all,
I've added a custom menu pick to operate on a selected alarm. It needs to
modify the attributes of the selected alarm . Mine works but is 'clunky'
because it has to use CLI in a webserver script wrapper to do the modifications
to the selected alarm. (Yes you guessed - It's for an alarm-to-ticket
mechanism!).

Has anyone done this, so that their menu pick modifies alarm attributes
*directly* within the OneClick server itself?
(It would be nice to base it on built-in actions (Acknowledge, Clear etc) but
of course all the built-in menu items' XML files are unpublished by CA - and
buried in the class libraries!.
I also suspect there are unpublished web services URLs to modify alarms
attributes in the OneClick application - I think the CA ServiceDesk integration
must use these)

There are other queries I have, but not as important...

1) I can't make my menu's filter use the alarm's attribute values either.
The filter syntax only seems to work using the *model's* attributes of the
model referred to by the selected alarm, not the alarm attributes. Has anyone
else managed to get around this?

2) How can one make a menu pick work when *multiple alarms* are selected
(like Acknowledge for example)?

Thanks for any thoughts...

Cheers
Dan.
