Hi all
Our client doesn't have RW access to all devices modelled in their
infrastructure (many are owned by a service provider) and wants to back up on a
regular basis the configs for the devices which they do have access to.
So I want to be able to run the Global Sync Task (or indeed just a Sync Task)
against the devices in a Global Collection so that any new devices added to the
GC are included in the sync Task.
Seems like it should be easy but it doesn't appear to be possible. To use a GC
with NCM you need to select the devices in the GC and then create the Sync
Task. If any new devices are added to the GC they don't get picked up by the
Sync Task.
Has anyone else come across this? Or am I missing something?

The alternative to using a GC is messy and will need constant tweeking. I had
thought to disable NCM for everything but the devices required and then run the
Global Sync Task. However any new devices added to the infrastructure will
likely need to be tweeked to be added or excluded.

John
