Hi, You would have to do that with Modeling Gateway in conjunction with a CLI script.
>From the OneClick you can export an existing Discovery Profiles as XML. This should be your base for further discoveries. You'll have to create a similar one from a script that should feed the specific ranges into to XML file. I would go towards having separate discovery profiles. Using Modeling Gateway you can then import the new discovery profile into the system. It would be just one step, to trigger the discovery profile that you just imported or to schedule it to run automatically. I recommend run it on demand. I don't know exactly what the action for triggering the discovery process is, but I guess that someone else could help you with that. This is how I would do what you asked for. I have a customer that has written some scripts to pull specific subnet ranges off his routers (lots of them). He would like to be able to use the output to populate a discovery without having to go through the gui over and over and over again. Thanks, Mike . --To unsubscribe from spectrum, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe spectrum [email protected] --- To unsubscribe from spectrum, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe spectrum [email protected]
